The Chainlocker has been there since 1660 and is one of Falmouth’s better and best known pubs. There’s no loud music, just lots of friendly chatter from the locals, students, fishermen and visitors. The menu is available until 9pm with food of a consistently high quality. The beers are mostly local from Skinner’s brewery in Truro but with nationwide favourites as well. Great selection of wines and ciders. When it’s warm enough to sit outside there is an expansive seating area with glorious views over the harbour.
